Design Engineering Level 3 Apprenticeship
Greenfield Engineering has an exciting opportunity as we are looking to develop a fantastic Design Engineer through an Apprenticeship.
The role has the responsibility for ensuring that production drawings are produced efficiently and effectively. If you think you have what it takes to become a confident Sheet Metal Design Engineer, and is someone who wants to progress their career into a Project Management role.
The successful candidate will be working within a small team who are committed to providing excellent customer service, so a friendly, outgoing personality is important.
Training to be provided
Engineering design and draughtsperson level 3.
As part of the apprenticeship, college attendance and off the job training is a commitment and requirement of this standard. Training will be provided by the employer, a commitment and a responsibility of the apprentice to undertake all training to achieve the end of programme gateway and pass the end point assessment.
- Good communication skills
- Excellent numerical skills
- Genuine interest in design engineering
3 GCSE passes (Min C or equivalent), including Mathematics, English and Science or equivalent.
As part of the apprenticeship if grade C or equivalent has not been attained, functional skills at Level 2 in English and maths must be attained as part of the apprenticeship standard.
Within Greenfield Engineering there is potential to progress into Leadership or Project Management roles.
