A driving licence is considered to be extremely helpful due to the rural location and the need for 6am starts.

Future prospects

It is strongly hoped that an employment opportunity will be offered to the apprentice upon successful completion.

Things to consider

The role will require you to be able to carry out a manual role and confident to work with livestock.

You must ensure you have suitable travel arrangements in place to get to the farm and to attend your college training events.

Pay will be reviewed as knowledge, experience and skills develop.

The vacancy may close swiftly if a suitable candidate is found. All published dates can therefore be flexible and will be dependent on suitable candidates coming forward and registering appropriate interest.
