1. Business Management: Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship
2. Data Analysis: Digital & Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship
3. Digital Marketing: Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship
This is an exciting opportunity to get into the world of business with one of the world’s most creative organisations, earn while you learn on the job and gain a degree level qualification and have the option to be accredited by an industry body.
As part of your 3 or 4 year programme (depending on your chosen pathway), we will support you as you work with passionate and skilled people in a variety of work placements across the BBC.
You will have the opportunity to select your preferred apprenticeship/pathway on the application form. You will also be able to express an interest in a second choice if you are interested in more than one apprenticeship.
Please note: The London role has a higher salary of £18,810.
As a Chartered Management Degree Apprentice you'll be the eyes and ears of the projects that you’ll work on as part of your placement. You will be working alongside managers to help you understand how different business areas work, learn how to improve them and develop your skillset (both personal and professional)
As part of the three year programme, you will complete five work placements with the BBC, while studying towards the degree. You will attend a series of workshops delivered by our learning provider – QA Apprenticeships – across the country and will also be expected to study at home or at the BBC workplace, depending on the business demands.
Are you the right candidate?
This will be an exciting but challenging opportunity which requires a lot of hard work and commitment from you:
- You do not need to have work experience.
- We are looking for people who can work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. You will also have excellent communication and organisation skills.
- You will have an ability to work with numbers in spreadsheets and databases.
- You will be a creative thinker with the ability to think outside of the box.
- You will have a genuine interest in business and a passion to develop a career in business within the creative industry.
You are likely to have five GCSEs Grade A*-C and you would have studied at least 2 A Levels at A-C or equivalent or an existing relevant Level 3 qualification.
This apprenticeship is not aimed at degree level graduates. We’re looking for creative, passionate people with great ideas, not necessarily people with academic qualifications. So do not talk yourself out of this great opportunity!
To be eligible for this scheme, you will also need to have the right to work in the UK.
