Trading Operations Level 4 Apprenticeship
BP is one of the largest physical traders of oil and gas in the world with a huge array of assets. These include refineries, ships, tanks and retail systems. International Supply and Trading is the market-facing component of our trading activities. As part of the trading operations team, you’ll develop deep operational expertise and share both our bias for action and our thirst for continuous learning.
The team plans, manages and optimises the movement of oil for BP. It’s an energetic, dynamic environment where building relationships and a passion for making a difference are key. On a three-year structured apprenticeship programme, you’ll choose to study further in Business Administration, Project Management or Accountancy, taking everything you learn from your studies and applying it in the real world of business.
You’ll rotate through a range of exciting roles that will give you a proper introduction to BP and space to develop your skills. We’ll support you all the way through your apprenticeship with additional in-house training, mentoring and the BP early careers team. You can expect regular feedback on your progress to date and next steps, not to mention long-term career options and development.
We welcome people from a range of academic subject backgrounds as long as they have the right competencies and motivations to become a Trading Operator.
You’ll need the determination and passion to flourish in our business, and 128 UCAS points (which is ABB at A Level or equivalent).
Developing and producing energy resources that benefit people the world over is our motivation – it’s what drives us. So we’re constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s achievable. Demanding more of the resources we use in an effort to create a more sustainable future.
