Level 3 Software Development Technician
Salary Range: £23,472 - £26,080
Job Description Summary: To carry out a range of demanding technical duties and where appropriate work with other colleagues, in order to deliver technical solutions to internal customers in line with agreed service standards.
This vacancy will enable a colleague at the Technical Specialist level to contribute to the support and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives within Group CIO COO.
You will work with, and learn from, Subject Matter Experts across a number of technical disciplines required to provide ongoing support for COO tools, processes and services.
You will have the opportunity to join a team who are willing to share a broad level of technical skills and experience and get involved in multiple initiatives aimed at automating processes and services and improving the data that is used to drive business decisions across GCIO. The successful candidate will be expected to learn a number of processes and services and understand where the data that supports them is sourced from and the impacts of it being wrong as part of their on-going development and training.
Preferably, you will already have some knowledge of SQL, Access, Excel and Sharepoint development but this role will enable you to enhance those skills and product knowledge in order to better support the senior SMEs within the team and deliver more complex changes across the area.
