Cyber and Information Systems Degree Apprentice
This role is part of the Digital & Technology Solutions Professional Degree, where you’ll choose to go down a Software Engineer, Network Engineer or Data Analyst role. No matter your choice, you’ll develop and deliver scientific, software or engineering solutions to the UK’s defence. And as you hone your cyber skills, you’ll also work towards a degree in digital and technology solutions.
You’ll then apply this knowledge to lab-based research, university assignments, practical technology projects or military systems evaluation. With the support of your team, you’ll develop a deep understanding of the issues facing our forces and the wider security landscape.
Logical and systematic, you’ll have a natural flair for technology. It means you’ll quickly get to grips with new bits of tech and understand how they work. This passion will be supported by three A-Levels (or equivalent), including maths, science, technology or engineering. Plus, you’ll be confident in a demanding environment and be comfortable adapting to change.
Dstl is responsible for designing, developing and applying the very latest in science and technology for the benefit of UK defence and security, across government. In our work, we partner with other brilliant people – collaborating with everyone from small companies and world-class universities, to large defence organisations and other nations. Together, we develop battle-winning technologies, based on deep and widespread research.
