We’re one of the largest financial services groups in a rapidly transforming industry, so our Finance teams really work at the heart of innovation. We’re looking for team-players; people who are motivated to work together to succeed. Not to mention people who are also great with numbers.
Whether joining us from school, college or just looking for a career change, you’ll be building a career that counts, from day one. Above all, you’ll have support and development opportunities that are tailored to match your interests, plus a range of flexible benefits that come with a permanent role.
For inquisitive people with a mind for number-crunching and a passion for building great relationships, we have an exciting and challenging opportunity for ambitious individuals to join the Central Finance Control, Statutory and Regulatory Reporting team. It’s the perfect place to start an accountancy career with an industry leader.
If you choose a Lloyds Banking Group Apprenticeship, we’ll inspire you to embrace your passions, discover where your strengths lie, and empower you to make an impact in your own way.
Our Finance team sits within one of 4 key hub locations for Finance and undertakes the financial and product control, reporting and governance activities to support the Group. We deliver assurance on the underlying financial information and produce internal and external reporting for the Bank.
As a Financial Analyst, you will gain experience in one of our sub-teams who are responsible for reconciling, analysing and reporting on key data and results for the divisions. The role provides the opportunity to build core finance skills within the home role, in addition to supporting the resource sharing initiative across the department.
You’ll develop a wealth of skills and experience through a mixture of formal and on-the-job training. In addition, you will complete ACCA’s Foundation level which is an entry level accounting qualification by the end of the 2 year programme.
Throughout your apprenticeship you'll have access to and support from your Training Assessor and Line Manager. They'll work with you to create a development plan to match your own needs and learning style. You'll gain all the knowledge you need - plus the confidence to use it.
To apply, you’ll need 96 UCAS points with B or above in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths. Good with people, you’re a real team player. A skilled planner with a keen eye for detail and organised. We expect you to be motivated, ambitious and committed to your own development. In particular, you will be keen to get to grips with financial systems and processes.
In return, we’ll offer you a competitive salary, performance bonus, generous pension contribution, attractive path of progression and flex cash to spend on a host of benefits to suit your lifestyle.
We are constantly looking to improve our people’s work-life balance, so throughout your apprenticeship we’ll offer you flexible working arrangements and ask for your feedback on ideal working patterns and hours to help you fulfil your potential.
