Tulip Ltd is one of the UK’s leading food production businesses, Britain’s biggest pig farmer and the number one producer of high welfare pork in the world, employing more than 6,000 full time staff based at 16 manufacturing sites across the UK. A subsidiary of one of the world’s largest food producers and exporters, Danish Crown, Tulip Ltd was formed in 2004 but its roots go back much further to the 1880s, when the first Danish farmer co-operative was formed.
The business is primarily a producer of a wide range of pork-based food products and combines traditional crafts and skills honed over generations with the latest state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques to serve some of the UK’s best known retailers, wholesalers and food service outlets.
