About the AIA
Founded in 1928, the Association of International Accountants (AIA) is a global mem- bership body for professional accountants, which promotes the concept of ‘international accounting’. We have created a global network of world class accountants in over 80 countries worldwide by offering high-quality, relevant and innovative qualifications; along- side the provision of first-class and tailored services for our members and students around the globe.
The AIA’s primary mission is to help support and promote the creation of world class professional accountants, which we achieve by continually striving for excellence. Although AIA has expanded significantly since its formation 90 years ago, many of our key markets remain today, as we continue to work closely with individuals, businesses and educational institutions in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore to name a few.
AIA works in the public interest, ensuring that our members are appropriately regulated for the work that they carry out. In addition we are very proud to be a Commonwealth Accredited Organisation.
His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh is also an Honorary Member of the AIA.
