What do you do on a daily basis?

Creating reports, meeting with 3rd parties, arranging meetings and shadowing colleagues

What do you enjoy most?

I enjoy meeting the third parties which my department work with as I am learning how other companies work and enjoy engaging with new people.

What skills are necessary to perform well?

Commitment and a willingness to learn are both key skills as an apprentice. You need to be committed to completing college work as well as working your day job. Also learning on the job is a key part of the scheme so you should be always ready to learn new things.

What advice would you give to someone applying to NatWest?

Go for it. It will open up many opportunities for you to become an established employee and your hard work is always recognised.

How has NatWest's apprenticeship scheme affected your career prospects?

Before joining the scheme I was at university on a 4 year course with no guaranteed job. Now I am getting qualified, gaining vital experience and setting myself up for a career in technology and NatWest.
