Excel, communication, teamworking, confidence
I am really enjoying the apprenticeship programme in just five months of being here I have learnt so many new skills. I also feel like my programme algins with my job a lot as it is teaching me skills needed to do my job and also just helping me grow so I can make the most out of my career
My programme is very well structured with a workshop every month and tasks provided every month off of the back of the workshop and then a review with my manger every 2/3 months. Also my work support my apprenticeship by allowing me a study day every week and also I have a mentor within the company who helps me complete my tasks and we meet every month
WTW support me a lot through my apprenticeship, my manger in our catch ups makes sure to discuss my apprenticeship and ask about what I am doing. I also have a mentor in the company who I meet with every month where we discuss my tasks for the month and she helps me to complete them and if I am struggling with my off the job hours she will help find me work to put towards that. Also my buddy has been great help answering any questions that I have. In general, everyone is supportive and aware that I am under going an apprenticeship and want to help me achieve my best
My training provider offer me support with responding to my emails if ever have a question, they are aware of work commitments and the nature of my role so allow me time to complete tasks. Also I will have a 1:1 every month or a review and that's where we discuss how I am feeling and if I need any help with any of the modules
The qualification algins with my job just coming out of school the skills and behaviours are really helping me to adjust to cooperate life allowing me to gain experience in an informal way of for example, writing a report. Also I have found that the tasks are a range of writing and practical tasks for example, the communication module I will deliver a presentation to a team this is helping me make connections in work as well as improving my communication skills. Knowledge wise the modules allow me to gain a broad understanding of the world of consultancy which is useful as I can see how it feeds into my job and the work
As part of my team I have attended a careers fair where I got to talk about my apprenticeship and experience also my team hold social events that I attend
Yes
As my first job I think this has been a great company to work for the support, the culture, the people and I really enjoy the work that we do
I think when applying to this job I think you need to consider the responsibility of taking on apprenticeship as you need to manage your time whilst people in the company help you and are super supportive it is ultimately down to you to make sure your delivering in both work and the apprenticeship. Also i think make sure you are open and willing to learn new things as there is so much to learn in this apprenticeship
