  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I would say greatly, it has been an amazing opportunity for me and has given me a broad insight into the world of finance and treasury. The work I do I find really interesting and I have been given opportunities I would never have got if I went to university.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I would say from BMW's perspective it has been faultless hence the score. However, I have had some issues with Kaplan with regards to having my exams booked in the correct time window.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have a huge amount of support from BMW, I have always been made to feel more than comfortable reaching out for help if ever I've needed it. I have a great team around me who I can reach out to with questions, I also have weekly catch ups with members of my team to make sure I'm getting on okay and I don't any problems and if there's thing I want to go over.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I would say when it comes to the teachers there is a great amount of support and I can reach out to them if I have any queries regarding the course of topics. But I have catch ups with my 'Talent Coach' every six weeks, and I potentially feel they might just have too many students to manage as it doesn't feel as much of a personal experience as it could be.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Most of the topics do really help within my role for example the 'Management Accounting' module has really helped me with the tasks within my job. However, I wouldn't say that every topic is that way, for example the 'Preparing Financial Statements' module is more aimed at a technical accounting role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are a great deal of extra curricular activities to get involved in, I play in the weekly five aside football after work which has really helped me to meet new people around the business in a more social setting. There was also bi weekly lunches with all of the apprentices from across the cohorts this enabled me to meet a lot of people in a similar position to me and learn about their roles and the challenges they face within their apprenticeship.
