  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • At college there is limited support available but this is simply due to the fact that you are only there once a week. However, if you do have any questions you can email the lecturers for their opinion and help. As part of the SVQ an assessor comes in every two weeks to make sure you are progressing through this qualification and give you help if necessary.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • In order to ensure you are given the necessary support needed to complete a task you usually shadow a fellow worker in the department who walks you through the steps of completing the task. By doing this you are given all of the support you need and if you still have any problems they are more that happy to help.
