1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My Role is a Damage recovery Specialist, dealing with Non fault Accidents in our vehicles. I call and email customers and insurers daily, along with taking incoming calls.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The course was useful for my role, as it made you think in-depth about how your deal with customers and how much you actually know about different aspects of your role.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed writing the units, although sometimes slightly repetitive. The math's, English, IT tests were a little frustrating but that's just part of the course. It was sometimes difficult to get the full time allocated from work to do the course, due to business needs and the company being busy.

4. How valued do you feel by Enterprise Rent-A-Car?

Enterprise is a big company so it does have a many employees but generally I believe the company tries, I think it can depend on who your direct manager is as to how well you are appreciated.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

At the beginning the hour slot work allocated was not structured at all but it did get better by the end with an allocated slot each week made it a lot easier to work. the actual meetings with the mentor/trainer was always great and flexible

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

The were always really helpful and would try and help on the areas where I was struggling. Very open and honest and seemed to enjoy what they were doing

6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?

They would not really get involved with the NVQ, just sign the relevant paperwork and ensure this is what we were doing within our times given to us.

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

it is not the best within the insurance business that we are in compared to other companies but at this time it is not a bad salary with the economy as it is.

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

charity events and yearly/18monthly get tog ethers are arranged. as a homeworker now these aren't so available due to travel.

9. Would you recommend Enterprise Rent-A-Car to a friend?

9b. Why?

They are a safe company to work for, steady and I have never seen any redundancies made, they do employee all types of people if they are willing to start on a fairly low salary

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Enterprise Rent-A-Car?

To study hard for interviews, they seem abit too hard for the jobs applying for, research the companies goals etc and be up for a challenge.
