  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • i feel my role is important but as i am still technically within my first year there is not much on job training and alot of the time is consumed within a classroom, as time goes on and i am completing more on base training for a prolonged period of time i will then see more of what my working role is.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • i have learnt new skills and devolped others i already have , although i am grateful for these new skills, as our schedule does not allow for much on job training within the first 12 months it does not allow us to practice our new learned skills on our actual job sites and , this sometimes leads to re learning the skill.

  • i do enjoy my programme very much but the long periods (months) spent learning in classroms of theory work is overwhelming where it is being crammed, although i understand theory is needed, sometimes a break to put the theory in practice would be desireable.
