  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is currently Apprentice Manager as I have already complete a level 2 in retail knowledge and have no progressed onto the next level. On a day to day basis my job involves high levels of customer service and being productive in keeping products on sale to customers as well as coming up with ideas on what and when things need to be done in the most productive way. I am currently learning about how to run the store, what the management roles involve and how they differ from today as well as the different issues that arise.

  • I have really enjoyed my experience of the programme so far and I am really happy with the support I get both from the college, and from my work colleagues themselves. This programme has been a lot more than I expected it to be and has made me realise how much hard work there is in running and working in a retail business.
