My role is to help manage a retail store in the hardware sector. Day to day is serving customer, putting stock away and doing managerial tasks.
The main skill I have developed is confidence, the course and my tutor have really helped me grow as a person and in my job role.
I enjoy getting to experience new things and progress my learning on existing ones. The programme has introduced me to loads of new experiences.
As it is still growing and adapting there are aspects that can and will change but overall it was great. My tutor was there for me whenever I needed support or an explanation and I always had someone to talk to. Having the ILP also helped plan and organise everything.
There were times I feel more was needed, but only when staffing issues happened. Other than those times I feel I was completely supported and encouraged.
The support I received was amazing. Always there to help. No matter what.
I think it is great. The qualification is very topical and relevant and has helped me become better at my job.
