  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My job role is a Shopper Marketer and I help produce Artwork and Campaigns for the Post-it and Scotch Brand alongside design agencies. I also support with driving online optimisation from SEO through to Content optimisation.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how present and deal with customers more confidently. I have also learnt how to work effectively within a team. Lastly I have learnt how to analyse and make suggestions based on data.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love how everyday is different and everyday brings new challenges. The programme also helps push myself and learn more and more about myself each day.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is very well structured with monthly meetings with my tutor and I have a catch up session every 2 weeks with support team at ATA Apprenticeships. This helped and allowed me to overcome my struggles that I had with family at home and I could not have carried on with my apprenticeship if it wasn't for them.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have great support from my employer and my manager. I have regular weekly catch ups with my manager which allows me to express my feelings and stay on top of my work load.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive great support from my training providers CIM. I have monthly catch ups with my tutor to ensure I'm on the right track and they are great at ensuring I understand the work that is required.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My level 6 marketing course has allowed me to understand marketing theories and how to put them into work. I am now able to identify theories and practices I have learnt about used in my day to day role. This allows me to fully reflect on what I have learnt.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I have joined the regular 5 a-side football game on Monday nights as a way to connect with other people that work at 3M. 3M also have a football club that play on sundays in the local football league. We also do many team lunches and dinners to boost moral.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They are extremely supportive and the people that work for ATA are all very understanding and help push you to do well within your apprenticeship.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Inspire ATA Ltd.?
  • No question is a silly question because ATA understand that every apprentice has their own journey and struggles in life. If your willing to improve yourself and want to get a good kicking start in your chosen career then ATA are perfect.
