I work alongside a Pinsent and Masons trainee who gives me any work they currently have to do research on, help with or to have a go at completing.
Yes, I have learned how to be more confident when given challenging tasks or being out of my comfort zone. I have learned how to use PLC and research things more effectively. I have drafted letters to Barristers which I would have never known how to do before, I have also filled out applications to go to the Land Registry and lots more.
I really enjoy it. I find it both challenging and exciting. One of my work experiences by far.
I feel very valued. All the work I have done has been highly praised and appreciated, I have been treated like an equal here.
Very well organized. Everyone knows where they are going and at what time and we are kept informed about any changes that may occur.
The information provided was accurate and done so well ahead of time, numbers and emails were handed out and are there when you have any questions.
A lot. There is always someone around who is willing to stop what they are doing to help you or answer any questions and the trainees looking after us on the allocated day always make an effort to give clear instruction and come over to your desk to check you are getting on okay.

Yes, Pinsent Masons has sports teams and they often have company events. However I don't think we were here long enough to take part unfortunately.
Yes
Everyone is so kind and you get so much from the programme and I think it provides you with the opportunity to gain new skills and develop some existing ones.
Put in the effort and you will reap the rewards from this programme. Be yourself and throw yourself into the tasks and activities you are given, don't be afraid of messing up because you are their to learn and nobody will be angry at you, if you happen to make a mistake they are really encouraging and just tell you how you can improve which I really valued, they also just appreciate the fact that you tried. It really is rare that such big firms give out work experience, you really have done well if you get a place so make the most of it.
