  • Partner Marketing Executive Interaction with sales and marketing teams and product group teams internally Interaction with Partners externally Projects: enlisting businesses to become partners, organising partner events like WPC, enlisting education partners to use the education showcase classroom facility, budgeting, demand generation of the modernbiz camapaign aimed at SMBs

  • Love my job role and the qualification alongside the job role enables me to develop my skills in numerous ways - e.g. personal and professional skills. The company and the team are all really supportive and there are a variety of opportunities available to you

  • You get appreciation for the work that you do. I recently received an award for supporting others in my team so you can see that your efforts don't go unnoticed

  • First time the programme has been run so a little difficult to fit in your coursework around your job role

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • The tutors from the regular training sessions are really supportive and facilitate the learning process. There is a delay in the return of coursework however and this can set you behind schedule

  • Lots of support. Everybody is willing to help and answer questions.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Really good salary in relation to what the minimum wage is for apprentices. However if I didn't live at home then I may struggle considering the area that I am located in

  • Lots of opportunities available to you. Particularly in driving uptake of future apprentices

  • 9. Would you recommend Microsoft to a friend?
  • Yes

  • The atmosphere is really exciting, there's lots to get involved in and lots of talented people to learn from.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Microsoft?
  • Do your research for your interview and ensure that you really know the company - not just the basics. Be passionate about technology Don't be put off if you aren't technical in nature - there are more job opportunities available to you.
