  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Lacked structure, spent long periods of time without work and expected to complete self-led training. Even on projects, managers didn't always utilise my time very well.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

  • 9a. Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • Quality of placement experience is heavily dependent upon the projects you are assigned and your teammates. I found the work boring and my managers weren't always supportive. Work-life balance isn't always good either, you can be expected to work late evenings at times.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Choose very carefully the department you apply for and decide if this is what you actually want to do in future.
