My roll within Enable is to help out with admin tasks. This includes running through purchase requests, updating databases and spreadsheets, and when required I send mail merges. I mostly communicate to my line manager through email and Microsoft Teams.
I have upskilled my numeracy skills, and have advanced my understanding of many office systems.
I enjoy it most of the time very much, but am given to bouts of ennui and listlessness from time to time, especially if I have to log on when I'm not required to come in, even though I know it will all be worth it in the end.
I find the program to be very well structured indeed. I have regular check-ins with my assessor which I find very helpful.
I receive quite a bit of support from Enable. If I'm struggling with a piece of course work my line manager allows me to send it over and gives me some pointers. They also allow me to work on coursework during work time.
My assesor has given me their email and allows me to send over anything I'm struggling with and they will try their best to help me. They also support me in uploading my evidence.
It teaches me skills that I can use to improve my work.
There might be, but due to the current pandemic I haven't been in the office so wouldn't know.
Yes
They're a good company. Very friendly and as someone who they've worked with in the past I can't sing their praises high enough.
Be yourself, and don't be afraid to admit your faults.
