  • 9a. Would you recommend Balfour Beatty to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend Balfour Beatty as the opportunities and areas of developing are brilliant. I have been able to progress from a Level 3 business administration qualification to now a level 5+ Charted Business Management Degree. I think the salaries are higher than the average apprenticeships. There are plenty of business areas for you to shadow and go and see if you would like to work there. Overall in my experience Plant & Fleet has been the most enjoyable business unit to work for and the management is a lot better than anywhere else.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Balfour Beatty?
  • I did pass a job opportunity to my friend, which he got the job and now has progressed into a fantastic career and his work ethnic has been acknowledged by another team which has created a promotion for him! The advice i gave to him was to research into what Balfour Beatty do, and what there ethic are all about aswell as researching into what business department the job was for. I told him to talk about his previous experience and qualifications and to let the interviewer know he was up for a challenge and wanted to expand his knowledge and further his qualifications. i also told him the basics such as what the site was like, where to park, how to park (parallel).
