  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am making sure that business processes are being followed correctly and are in line with governance. Day to day i will take part in testing and fieldwork for an audit.

  • My communication skills have got so much better. I now understand how to be proactive and adaptable as well as how to develop further both professionally and personally. I have a good understanding of corporate governance and risk management and the organisational business processes

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I do extremely enjoy my programme and all of the people involved. It has made me so grateful to have found such an amazing apprenticeship with such a caring company that care so much about your development and only want the best for you.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • There has been times where the course has been disorganised due to a new IAP exam we have to sit. However, it is well structured and the next 4 years are planned.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I am constantly receiving support from lloyds banking group and all of my colleagues who only want me to develop even more. They are constantly seeing if there is anything I need to improve and develop further across my time.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We have received a lot of support from Kaplan to get us ready for our exam in September. They always check in on and us to make sure we are getting our work done as well as completing our Audit work.

  • going through the workshops and all the development days helps me to take on information which i need within audit such as how to communicate with stakeholders.

  • yes, i get involved in as many events as i can

  • I have never felt so appreciated by a company before and how important it is to them for us to do well and succeed within our apprenticeship programme.

  • Always be yourself. Make yourself shine and show off the amazing aspects of yourself.
