  • It's something new and challenging, it keeps me busy which I thrive off of. I highly enjoy it

  • It seems well structured, I have clear communication from my tutor and a good outline as to what is expected of me throughout the year

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support. I have regular check-ins with my manager and if I ever need any assistance or support for something extra, I'm able to ask freely

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A good amount of support with frequent meetings every month and reviews scheduled every couple of months

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • There are some elements that do not seem that relevant but the aspect of researching and producing documents/answering questions can all be applied to my role

  • There are many employee-led networks we are able to get involved with, constant events being held for the apprentices every month, therefore lots to get involved with

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They're a great employer to work for in terms of support, potential progression, being open and honest, happy to hear feedback, I feel comfortable raising any issues or queries I have, everyone is very friendly and helpful.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest?
  • Don't be put off by the fact it's a bank. I was a little intimidated due to my lack of financial knowledge, but they teach you everything you need to know and offer plenty of support so I've never felt alone.
