  • developed new skills in team building as well as subject knowledge in a range or areas. this will set me up for my future in financial services.

  • very well - good that we are allowed additional study days to allow time to complete assignments to the best of our ability

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support. I have a workplace counsellor who is always willing to help me with activities to help me meet my apprenticeship requirements. Always able to help and/or put me in contact with someone who can help. My work team are understanding of my apprenticeship needs.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • not as much as that of my workplace. Went a year pretty much with no university mentor. Mentor that I now have however is really supportive of my needs

  • very well. subject knowledge transferrable to the business environment

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • pre-pandemic we had a number of social activities and networking events, these have transferred to online since working from home.

  • Yes

  • Fantastic opportunity that I am so thankful for. I love the team that I work with and believe that this apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to get a degree and obtain practical working skills


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • Do your research. There are a number of videos on EY's youtube about how the business runs day-to-day that may help you in your interview.
