  • Currently I am just studying at college learn all different types of engineering then I will be put on a placement at the bmw plant.

  • I have developed my engineering skills and even learnt some news during the course.

  • I am very thankful for the opportunity the bmw group give me.

  • The bmw group take a lot of pride in their apprenticeships which is clear to see through the well structured course.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We get a weekly chat with the head of our apprenticeship who will sort any issues or concerns we have.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • They try to help us as much as we can by offering advice and giving us extra support if needed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualifications helps me build my knowledge and develop my skills which will help me become a better maintenance engineer

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • As it is only my first year and coronavirus put a stop to social events am I unsure.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Highly respected company which gives great training and knowledge. They also give a good salary for an apprenticeship. The apprenticeship can open up many opportunities for you in the future.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group?
  • Be confident and show a lot of passion when you are applying. Always be prepared and make sure you give an example to the questions they ask.
