  • I support my local director to create and deliver strategy in our local market, putting customers and our people at the heart of our business and the network at the centre of our community.

  • Yes- the module of crafting strategy came at a time that the bank changed the global strategy so this really helped me to support and grow the business and our people with this change.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am very proud to be selected to complete this Aston MBA executive apprenticeship. I can already see how I am Growing and developing with the use of my new studies to benefit myself, the bank, my customers and team.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is sometimes very complicated to understand what time all the remote sessions are and when they start/ finish. There is no one timetable- there is a timetable and then lots of added calls and extras. This can sometimes lead to confusion. However, the remote learning is exceptional.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I am given time off work to attend the required study days which is great.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • They have an open door policy so I know I can arrange appointments to speak with the professors whenever I need to.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As mentioned above I am already using the skills learned in each module to deliver an improved performance at work.

  • Covid has prevented all extra curricular activities
