  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As head of department in a shopping centre I specialise in the customer journey and the overall customer experience. Day to day my role varies i mostly manage projects and ensure standards are upheld through our staff and they reflect our brand image.

  • I have learnt how to mange projects methodically, improved my communication techniques and have become more self aware which overall has improved my managing people skills.

  • I have enjoyed all the topics, especially being able to put them into practise at work and in my day to day role.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • At first it wasn't at all and i wouldn't have continued with the programme if this carried on. However, after addressing this with the tutor and some changes with a new tutor is completely changed my experience for the better.

  • Supportive to have some study time but i don't think they really understood the time and workload the course comes with, only because I am in a senior role i was able to influence this.

  • I have received as much support as i need.

  • I can clearly see where I can apply knowledge, skills and behaviours I have learnt in my day to day role, i think i have made quicker decisions and have become more well rounded manager
