  • I manage data loads and work on second and third line support incidents involving a lot of investigation and problem solving.

  • I have developed lots of new skills and developed existing ones I've already had. I've developed way more skills than I started out with and I'm really happy with my progress.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme. I'm looking forward to the future to finish my apprenticeship and become a full time employee.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very well structured. We have regular monthly meetings with our training providers to track progress and have college once a week on Friday.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive support with anything I need. My employer is really helpful and I always feel like I can ask for help with anything and will get it.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive monthly meetings where they can help me track progress and ask how everything is going or talk about issues that we have had. We as a collective had an issue with the college course and our training provider sorted it straight away.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think it helps me a little bit. I work in a specialised role so I learn a lot more on the job but the general skills my qualification is making me learn does help me naturally on a day to day basis.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there is plenty to get involved in at CGI.

  • Yes

  • I don't have any faults with my experience so far, it has been great.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CGI?
  • I would say to be yourself and to show you're skills and CGI will find a way to utilise them. I'd also tell people to show how they can work in a team, as team work at CGI is very important.
