  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I quite enjoy my programme, especially the individuals. I found that the length of time is a bit long.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think it was very well structured, although it would have benefited from being a little shorter. We had a lot of support at the beginning but a little less at the end.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot from my manager, not much from other colleagues. I found my colleagues tended to forget this commitment so I had to reinforce it.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel like the qualification has greatly helped me to understand the role I do, and improved my quality of work. My confidence has also grown which I believe shows.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Civil Service to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • There are a great deal of development activities and support for staff with different requirements and needs. There is essentially a role for everyone.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Civil Service?
  • Be honest on your application, don't be worried and just go for it. On the whole it's an accepting place, and once you're in it's easier to move around to find the role that suits you best.
