Working at KFC is quite fast-paced and you talk to and meet a lot of people. My job is a FOH team member and my role includes presenting food, serving customers, taking customers orders at the till and also packing the food. we also have table service in-store, so i also bring the food to customers, a bit like waitressing.
i have developed more social skills because i have to communicate with colleagues and customers. i have also learnt the importance of about hygiene and safety within the placement and also with food. working at KFC, I have also developed more customer service skills as well as having the experience of dealing with complaints and queries.
i think working at KFC is fun but at the same time i am having fun, i am learning quite a lot and feel good because i know these learnt skills will assist me in the future when i get another job in hospitality and i will apply these skills in life.
