  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes massively. I have been able to learn about procurement and supply in areas outside services, which is my area. Public procurement being the biggest learning curve. It has also taken me back to basics and developed the fundamentals that I already did, but now have a wider understanding

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme has been much more enjoyable than I actually thought it would be. It has been significantly challenging to balance it with 2020 and all the changes that COVID brought about - especially moving to a virtual learning space, however SRSCC have nailed this!

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very! We have each module split to two full learning days whether face to face or online. There is then assessments that test your knowledge, revision videos and sample papers etc

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We are fully supported in the apprenticeship. There has not been one occasion that I haven't been able to complete the requirements because of work load or BAU activities. Recognition of the additional workload from my employer also.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • As much as you want. They are on hand for all manner of additional support mechanisms beyond the delivery of the programme and you can pick and choose which work best for you.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It has expanded vastly my knowledge and awareness, despite being successful in the role for the past 10 years. I have been able to apply learnings from the programme into my BAU activities.

  • Not currently given the COVID circumstances. Under normal circumstances yes, social events, and networking happen.

  • Yes

  • There are plenty of roles to suit all areas. It is inclusive group to work for and is striving to be a top employer.
