  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Supporting PMs with larger projects. Doing Pmo support for projects. Completing small projects and also small items of work. Day to day involves speaking to customers providing project updates. Studying my project management qualification and completing the necessary coursework. As an apprentice it’s important to experience the various aspects in project management

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have been able to learn many skills. Just To name a few I have developed my project planning skills people skills, stakeholder management. Cost management and forecasting. Analysing figures. Identifying and also mitigating risk. Quality management . Time management. Scope management and overall being confident in my abilities

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • In my opinion I would say the at the programme is good and I did enjoy it however I believe that there should be more structure to the scheme. Many people on the course was not able to gain lots of PM skills due to the tasks that they were given

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • In my personal opinion I would say that the structure of the apprenticeship is good to an extent. In my personal experience I found the structure of the apprenticeship good as I was able to work of different accounts doing various different things roles e.g pmo and change management

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer did support me however I throughout the course of my apprenticeship I had many different line managers which overall affects the rapport that I have with the management which affects the support that I received. Overall I believe that I was supported but having so many different managers sometimes it was hard

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider was not very good. The QA limited company had many different tutors and teachers leave the company which affect our progress. My tutor does did not support me much throughout the course and a majority of things I had to do by myself. Overall i could have received more support

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I was able to learn about all the different aspects and fun fundamentals of project management. From scope management to procurement to stakeholder management to quality management to customer engagement to change management. I was able to use all of this knowledge and apply it in my day to day rolesb

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I was head of the stem committee in the grads interns and apprenticeship group. I attended a marathon where I raised money for the princes trust. I have completing various volunteering activities with students to promote young people to consider careers in the digital industry and also project management which was very enjoyable

  • 9a. Would you recommend Atos to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It’s a good company to kick start your career. It is a high profile company that has very big clients that would look good on your cv. It is a good starting point for people who want to get into technology with the wide range of apprenticeships and grad schemes


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Atos?
  • Do your research about many different things. Research about the company. Try to learn about a specific aspect of the technology that Atos provides. Really try to wow the interviewer with your knowledge: also research about your role and ensure that every question that you are answering relates to the role
