  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have managed to develop my analytical skills and key attention to detail. I say this mainly because of carrying out my day to day activities within this role you are required to have a sharp eye for mistakes made by others, it is within your duty to correct this

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme consists of completing BPP coursework alongside the actual job role. The coursework tasks seem very long winded and quite lengthy as we are required to submit 6 portfolios one per every 2 months. Overall the work life balance is very manageable and we have the assistance of our mentors

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme seems very well organized over the 18 months we have a structured guideline of different tasks we are required to complete all allocated within different weeks. It is very helpful that we are able to report to different levels of support when required as our Mentors can assist us on a personal level

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The support is great from my employer as we are given time off work for our mental health on some days this can be going for a walk or even just simply asking the manager for a day off this is arranged kindly by the management. If any issues arise this can be dealt with by Employee services who are very quick with their responses.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The support received is absolutely great, my current mentor is very fast and prompt with replies. They assist and help to find solutions to the best of their abilities and help us to manage our work-life balance when things become unmanageable. The actual course itself seems very straightforward and simple to complete.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The project management aspect is heavily incorporated into my role as we are required to juggle multiple aspects at any given time. For example throughout the tasks we carry out we need to consider the costs/budgets as well as managing people and liaising with key stakeholders to complete jobs

    8/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I would very much enjoy to get more involved with the team by playing trivia's or even psychical activities such as football. I believe this will be a great way to further bond with my colleagues and enjoy some competitive activities to solidify our communicative and cooperative skills with each other.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Virgin Media is a super company that really cares for its employees values and allows them to not always be work heavy but also consider the social aspects of working. This can be through different events, taking time off work for mental health and just overall caring for our well-being.

  • My advice for applying for this company would be to stay diligent, show initiative and have a good attention for detail. There are many points in role where we must identify alot of mistakes either made by ourselves or others, it is important to correct these to stay on top of work and not create any backlog.
