  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As a general management apprentice my daily tasks depend entirely on the placement I'm in. In an office placement my day would consist of checking emails and teams and then working on my projects to meet the objectives set by my placement manager. I will also support new apprentices and the wider general management scheme across my apprenticeship.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • There have been many instances of crossover in my apprenticeship so far. Skills learnt at university I have applied during work, this is also true for skills I have learnt at work that I have later applied in my university assignments and projects. So it is safe to say that my qualification helps me to perform better in my role. Ultimately, through work on my qualification I feel I am more knowledgeable about my role and how to excel at it.
