  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role consists packing, cleaning, serving, helping customers and all while providing great customer service. My role is also to look after everyone else and prevent any accidents or liability’s in store. My main role is to work at a good speed to make service time great.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I’ve learnt how to be confident and not shy which is the main one. But also Listening, teamwork, communication, how to take on a challenge , resilience , multitasking and the main one learnt how to focus under pressure. My biggest skill by far is definitely not being shy.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme because it suits me it’s ideal for most people at many ages which is great. My programme gives me joy when we get recognised for what we do as a team at kfc. And seeing customers smile is everything to me.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme wasn’t the best at the start but then as I started to rope in more I learnt just how good for me the job actually was. Practice makes perfect as they say.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer Paul gives us all the most support we could ever need. Even though we are workers if there is any issue Paul is more than happy to take his own time out his way just to but a smile on our faces and make us feel better

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider gives me calls now and again to make sure I’m on track with the course. Sometimes I forget things which is important to remember key subjects for my final test.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Most of the knowledge has to be key from my own memory. However if I ever forget Upon tests until the real test my trainer James gives me clues to re jog my memory for the next test I get.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • No, however we have a staff party now and again to bring us all together even outside of work. Kfc do have foundations but I just choose to not be a part.

  • 9a. Would you recommend KFC UK & I to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because until I experienced working at kfc I never once wanted to even when it came to it I didn’t want to. But then I realised what a opportunity I actually was given and became grateful. Now I feel like I’m at a second home at work. It’s routine


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to KFC UK & I?
  • I’d like to say make sure your ready to listen and learn. The job isn’t to hard but at times it is hard and you need to be ready to embrace the rules and safety measures at all times .
