  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My current role is a Junior PMO Analyst. This involes me creating Statement of Works, Internal Views, Change Requests and filing Purchase Orders. Another aspect of my role is to do a weekly call with one of my Engagement Managers on the project and tell them which stage the active Commerical project are in.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • One skill I have developed is my confidence. This is because I have had to do tasks and speak to people of a certain level in my business, which I have never done before. Not only has this developed my confidence but my public speaking due to the calls that I lead.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am currently really enjoying my programme. I have had three module/training sessions and have done two assignments for them. I have had exceptional feedback, which has really motivated me to keep working and to push myself to exceed my targets. My coach is incredibly helpful and avaible whenever I need her.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very well organised. I have been given the dates for my training programme as well as my mock exam and actual exam well in advanced. It is a very in depth programme and has lots of extra things you can get yourself involved in, such as, the Multiverse community hub.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I recieve a lot of support from Capgemini. I have a 'buddy' for my project who has been training me and helping me throughout my time on this project. As well as a buddy, I also have a line manager/reviewer who I have weekly calls with. My reviewers is really great, he answers every question that I have and has really supported me.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I recieve a monthlty 1:1 coaching session from my trainer. In this session we go through my assignments and how I am progressing through the training sessions/modules. My coach is accessable by email and is always quick to reply to my emails. My training provider also provides a buddy programme which I have signed myself up too.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My trainng qualification has some great attributes, which helps me to perform better in my role. This is because it helps to give me an understaning of what I do and what impact it has on the project. This qualification will help me get to the next stage in my career, a project manager.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are pleanty. Currenlty I am doing the EM Certification qualification. This is helping me get a better understanding of EMs as well and broadening my network and getting my name out in the company. There are pleanty social activities as well. Once every 2 weeks I have a PSO General catch - up call to speak to my team and hear what is going on with them.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Capgemini to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • This company has been very supportive from the get go (especailly during the global pandemic and my job being pushed back for a whole year). The community at Cap is seriously welcomiing and I feel as I jhave been working at this company for years rather than two months. There are also pleanty of opportunities for people do to at Cap. You have the choice of multipule career paths.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
  • My advice would be to really research into the companies ethos/ethics understand each of the seven values, since they are really valued here at this company. Another bit of advice I would give is to be yourself in the interviews. Cap want to work with fun and easy going people who really want to be appart of the community.
