  • Work mostly front of house to provide an excellent experience for customers when they visit our pub. Giving good food and drink, good service and atmosphere.

  • Problem solving and time management have been greatly improved, as well as learning about and how to pour a variety of drinks and cocktails

  • I have enjoyed this apprenticeship as I have worked in retail and hospitality for the majority of my working life and it's given me a great depth of understanding of the hospitality industry

  • While there were huge disruptions due to the pandemic, it has been handled well, communication has always been clear between all parties

  • I didn't receive any special treatment from my employer, however I have never felt unsupported and have been given the time when I need it to work on my apprenticeship

  • I have been given an excellent amount of support from my training provider with regular check ins and updates

  • It has given me a great depth of understanding for my job role and allows me to perform better and with more confidence

  • There is nothing formally organised through work, however a large number of staff members will occasionally get together for social events
