  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe it is not connected too closely however it allows you to have more of an open mind and an appreciation of what other roles do and the math's and skill behind the decisions and the calculations that go on behind the scenes in order for everything to be safe.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There has been a team building trip to the lake district which was very good as well as visits for things within our sector. • 9a. Would you recommend Syngenta to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a good place to work and there are a lot of opportunities as an apprentice. As well as this there are a lot of holidays and the pay is okay. And you have a full employment contract from day one meaning you have good job security throughout your time.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Syngenta?
  • Ensure you research what the job will entail and always make sure you study for your interview. As well as this just be yourself and ensure that the people who carry out your interview can understand who you are as a person and because that is what is the most important thing.
