  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a customer advisor. My role is to welcome customers into our branch, answer their queries and serve them at the counter. It is all around excellent customer service. One of my responisibilities is to keep a track of how the customer advisors are getting on.

  • I have developed my communication skills and at first most my confidence. I am looking forward to having the qualification from my apprenticeship.

  • I enjoy my apprenticeship, it has let me learn more about the business and work well as a team

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Lloyds Banking Group?
  • I get recognition from my managers a lot but what helps as well as they tell me what i could do better to improve on. They let me have development time and help me find ways i can move up

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My training is structured enough. I know when i am meeting my apprenticeship facilitator so i ask for time to study for it and also i take time at home to make sure i have everything done. Any questions I have my facilitator will answer pre-meeting or in the meeting.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I enjoy meeting with my tutor, i get a lot of support and guidance from her. her attitude to supporting me is great she will help as much as possible.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I try and get time to study for my apprenticeship but it is sometimes hard as we have to support others in our team as we have a lot of staff

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary covers all my costs as i still live at home

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • We got out and do activities as a team once a month and we also have the day to make a difference which we all go out one day and do.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
  • Prepare for the interview and try and find out as much as possible about the job you are applying for. When you are in the job and are looking to move on make sure you have time to develop yourself.
