  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I have the ability to be a all rounder in the branch. i therefore am able to open accounts such as banking, savings, credit cards and give quotations on home insurance i am also able to service customers with their accounts and do transactions and be able to help them via a different channel too such as the taking calls from the branch which i diverted to us from customer services.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • 100% in my role i have learn to begin doing voice calls from the branch and also learnt another channel which was the text form called chat bot via a laptop and help service the customers. in terms of the apprenticeship i have learnt to write great pieces of work in detail, i have also managed to learn how to present my work in different forms such as powerpoint. being confident in how i present and express myself in huddles and meetings too.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • it was initially very structured but due to the pandemic things got a little set back and i do feel that we need to make things alot clearer in places and give it a better structure. more clearer transparent understanding of what is required from us.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • could be better as i have had to consistently ask for my time and i do feel that it is not taken seriously by all management. on occasions i have been told that i need to service the customers in branch and apprenticeship comes second although i have pre dedicated a day to do my apprenticeship. maybe allow the students to work from home on that day so that they are not affected
