  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Due to covid-19 my programme hasn't led its full path, however that hasn't stopped the support or assistance from the business as a whole. I've still been able to move around several parts of the business to broaden and improve on my own personal development. Its been really beneficial to strengthen the new and old skills that i have learnt along the way.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • To be fair, due to the impacts of Covid-19, i'd say my apprenticeship programme has kept together well.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My team manager supports me every step of the way. if i am unsure on any or need any extra tips they will take to the time to schedule in some training and go over anything i need assistance with. They also try different ways to coach/support me and they even take on board my ideas of ways to improve.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • the support i receive from my training provider is good, but i feel there could be more support here and there. they are very positive and assist me when i need it, but with Covid-19 its messed up everyone schedules and there are some slight delays with correspondence and materials.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualifications that i am learning are really beneficial towards my day to day work life. With my exam revision its kept with me all throughout my apprenticeship programme and i've remembered a lot of little details that you wouldn't think you'd need to know. overall it improves my knowledge leading to easier work life as i understand a lot of things more.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There used to be a lot of activities and social events that used to take place all through out the year, but at the minute due to lockdown and the covid restrictions it has been abit difficult with being able to organise a few events. i think once covid-19 dies down there will be more actives being set up.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Volkswagen Financial Services to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • i would recommend the Volkswagen financial services apprenticeship to a friend because its a great way to get an understanding in a few different departments , then you will be able to see and assess what you do and don't like. using this you can then chose the department best suited to yourself and learn to grow, develop and work your way up.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Volkswagen Financial Services?
  • Over all I'd say go for it. if its something out of your comfort zone, just give it a go because you might actually be shocked with the outcome. you might really enjoy something you have never done before and Volkswagen financial services will support you in any way possible.
