  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I'm responsible for end to end processes on International, US and Distributors accounts. This involves chasing payments for overdue invoices, making sure invoices are paid on time and processing any logistics claims or price query claims. Above all my main part of the job role is customer service, which means engaging with stakeholders and maintaining professional relationship with them.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • From what I've learned so far is that time management is the key to maintain healthy balance between your work load and. Prioritizing and being organised are the top skills that I've developed during this apprenticeship. Also with every lesson I'm gaining more knowledge about mine own job role and how I can reach my full potential.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Program helps me improve my English as this is my second language. Therefore I can sound more professional in my correspondence to the stakeholders. It makes my work more officiant. Also it provides me in depth knowledge about my job role so I know what is expected of me. This helps me support my team the best way I can.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My program is very well organised. I get to speak to my tutor on daily bases, if this is required. On my Induction I've being provided with all information about the program. I've being provided with text books for studying. After each class we tutor is providing with all slides from that class so even if I haven't noted something, I can always go back to the slides.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My Manager and Team Leader are always very supportive. Before my course began I have a conversation with my Team Leader about work hours that I will be spending on studying. Whenever I have task that requires my Team Leaders input, shes always there to help and support. Couldn't ask for better support.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Davies Learning Solutions have provided me with text book and access to portals where I can upload my work. We also tracking my working progress on monthly bases. Tutor are available daily - that is if you need their help. Also, my assignments can be proof red, which helps if English is your second language.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • This qualification will allow me to move higher withing my company. As I had no previous experience I will have better chances to get promoted when I'll be ready. It gives me better understanding of how important credit control is and how I can perform to best of my abilities.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are plenty of activities that we can involve in. The main one are charity events, which we have a lot of. We have few members of staff organizing events and they are always looking for some help. Also company always encourage to take part in seminars. This is grate if you want to know what is happening in current finance.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Premier Foods to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Although I haven't got experience in finance, I've being given a chance to be a part of Premier Foods. Since then I was looked after in manner that would allow me to develop in my role and make difference to my team. Premier Foods always recognize our efforts and looking after their employees.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Premier Foods?
  • You are applying to join a big family. Don't get scared of the new processes as there is always somebody to help you. Don't be scared of making mistakes as that is how you will learn. Be prepared to receive a lot of information at the beginning and don't worry it will all make sense in the future.
