  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I don't dislike it. It's rewarding when the hard works pays off and I get the grades I aimed for. Other then that, it is a stepping stone towards professional recognition in a commercial career in construction.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • We have been offered so many opportunities around this degree apprenticeship. However, it is all a bit crammed tightly and can sometimes be very admin intense.

    5/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • If ever i have a problem, there is always someone who will help as much as they can. I have no issues with the support from my employer and colleagues.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • As much as they have to give us and if we have any worries they will help. If they give us too much input, then it might interfere with our final grades at UWE.

    7/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Technically, very much so.

    8/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there is always something going on that we can join in with. They will also back us if we wish to raise money for a good cause and help us as best they can.

    9/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend EDF to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Very inclusive, positive. The opportunities in terms of qualifications seem to be as far as you are willing to go, they will support.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EDF?
  • You will get all the help you need, but remember it's not easy. All the apprentices that remain from the original intake have worked extremely hard to get to where they are now.
