  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The training provider OTIS use can be very unorganised. I’ve experienced lack of communication and last minute decisions relating to the course, which can sometimes feel like you’re being messed around. However OTIS are pretty quick on their feet to sort out any problems that have occurred.

    8/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Unfortunately due to COVID-19 this is rare. However OTIS utilise virtual activities as a substitute.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Otis Limited?
  • You don’t need to be a lift enthusiast to apply, but you need to be aware that there’s a lot to learn. Ask questions, you’re not going to be expected to know everything so utilise your apprenticeship to gain as much relevant knowledge possible.
