  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My day-to-day role is to ensure that the business operates as it should and is as profitable as possibly upholding all McDonalds procedures and values. Being an assistant means overseeing how the shift managers are running their shifts and coaching them on any way they can improve.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer is fairly supportive. I receive most time which I’m entitled to which is great although given the nature of a fast paced restaurant sometimes you lose the time and don’t get given the time at any other point which can put you behind.

  • Lots of support is available, you can message the trainer at any point with any questions and the portals they have contain lots of information which is easy to navigate.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I don’t really think my qualification was related as much as it could’ve been, it was a hospitality qualification when I work in fast food so to me that’s not that related although obviously both retail, fast food just isn’t hospitality in my opinion.
