  • Utilising power engineering knowledge gained through university and training programmes to assist in various teams across national grid ESO. This involves utilising specialist computer programs and tools, and basic instruments. Day to day tasks involve problem solving, discussion, and continuous development.

  • Yes I have learned many new skills. I can now complete risk assessments, work at height, and have certification to be on site in substations. I have also learned a variety of power engineering skills.

  • I enjoy my program thoroughly.

  • The program is very well organised.

  • There are many avenues of supposes and assistance, including a company car for travel, a robust expense system, and an employee helpline to assist with a number of things.

  • There is as much support as needed. Colleagues are experts in the field that you study.
