  • Monitoring contract performance, assurance and governance. Asist the site and regional operational teams as and when needed. Provide PMO support to the Contract General Manager. Act as interface between Babcock teams and Customer Role Office Take on small projects as and when requested by General Manager

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • To date I have had a mixed support from programme. Skills trainer keeps changing, now on 5th. The provider upgraded the learning platform last year - my previous work and evidence still not recovered. Due to operations requirement, I have not always been able to have work time study sessions.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Previous Line Manager tried to support, but my planned study sessions were always interrupted or pressured to do work ahead of study. Some work opportunities that would have aided my study and EPA have not been given to me. Hoping new Skills Trainer can asist.

  • As stated previously, not had consistency with trainers and issues with online learning

  • I am taking on skills and learning that will help me perform better when the opportunity arises. Not had chance to put theory in to practice as of yet.

  • Have worked for company for many years - hoping the current experience is a hiccup


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Babcock?
  • make sure you have what you want in writing, push for training and learning. Great company of entering on a graduate scheme, not so rewarding for loyal long time employees at lower levels.
