I rotate to different departments every 4-8 months so my day to day tasks will vary. I’m currently in a rotation within general ledger where I complete sundry sales accounts and daily accounting tasks
I have definitely learnt a lot of excel skills and also grown a lot as an employee, I feel I have been taught a lot of personal skills as well as work skills. Communication and problem solving skills have also been developed
I enjoy working for Tata steel and I enjoy studying AAT, some rotations are quieter during some periods and busier during others but overall I feel privileged to have this opportunity
The programme is well organized, as I mentioned previously I rotate to different departments so I am able to see different elements of the finance department and I feel my rotations are structured well, and in line with my learning
I feel my employed is very supportive, support can sometimes vary by department but it’s always available soon request
My training provider provides an extensive amount of material to help progress towards completing my qualifications
I am studying a finance qualification and working within a finance environment therefore I feel that it helps a lot
There have been a number of extra activities to get involved in e.g. I have participated in the great finance wales challenge and a finance competition through AAT studies
Yes
I think Tata steel is a reputable company with a lot of room for growth and development, I feel they are a great trainer provider and the career opportunities are there for those who work hard
